Ginger reduces inflammation

According to experts, the precursors of colon inflammation (signs) of colon cancer. A study published in the journal Cancer Prevention Research mengungkapakan that ginger supplements given to research participants may reduce inflammation in the colon within 30 days. This research was conducted at the University of Michigan Medical School.

Suzanna M. Zick Zick, ND, MPH, assistant researcher of the study explained that the risk of developing colon cancer can be reduced by eliminating the inflammation of the colon.

Ginger eases pain

Research suggests that pain caused by osteoarthritis can be reduced by taking ginger. One study showed that taking 500 mg of ginger extract twice a day and also taking 400 mg of ibuprofen three times a day is considered good for relieving pain caused by arthritis of the knee and hip. Research also has shown that ginger and citrus oils used in massage therapy can help reduce stiffness and pain in the knee.
